lOAN BOX.
Kitty Wilkinson, the first lady of the washhouse.
Kitty came from Ireland to Liverpool in the late 1700,s.
she learnt from a young age what it meant to share and be kind to those less fortunate then herself.
I have written Kitty's story in rhyme to engage and encourage fun through learning for young and old alike, from young children to history groups, Kitty's story is inspiring.
The loan box includes, washing aids, feel and smell what soap used to be like.
Use the toy mangle and washboard, dress up like Kitty and imagine having a cup of tea in the silver teapot given to Kittty by Queen Victoria.
